Are you Transgendered or are you
a friend or family member of someone who is
transgendered and would like more information?
Are you just emerging from the proverbial closet and
feeling nervous or self-conscious?
Well, our goal is to provide a
meaningful and enjoyable opportunity to feel comfortable with yourself
and loved ones. If this is your first time, being nervous is
expected and we promise to do all we can to help alleviate your anxiety.
We guarantee you’ll develop honest and true friendships faster than you
every have in your life. We all have known at one point the anxiety of
keeping this ‘secret.’ Share yours and let go of that toxic shame and
guilt! There is a lot to digest both educationally and emotionally!

We meet at the
MCC of the Spirit. Doors open at
approximately 8:00 pm and the meeting begins at 8:30 pm.
General announcements are made and everyone is invited to
introduce themselves. We then open up the floor to
those who briefly have something to share with the group
followed by social time with coffee and cookies.
Meetings typically end at about 10:00 to 10:30 pm.
Licensed therapists with experience in Transgender and
relationship issues are invited to each of our meetings to
offer assistance and encouragement to those wanting to share
their personal struggles and issues. So if you have
been considering seeing a therapist, you may want to
consider Alexis and Amy.

Our meetings are free and open to
everyone.
We don't charge monthly meeting
fees (although donations are always accepted). We
don't want anyone to feel that they cannot attend
our meetings simply because of money. So
please come join us. If you are interested in
joining and supporting our group by becoming a
member, it's $20 a year, that's it. Visit our
Membership page
for more information about how to join.

Out to dinner in downtown Harrisburg |

Social time after one of our meetings |
Prior to our meeting, several of
us meet for dinner at one of several restaurants
around Harrisburg. The venue changes each
month, so please check the website (at the bottom of
the page) for the location. Everyone is
invited to join us, but you must RSVP for dinner
because seating maybe limited. We like to
provide the restaurants with an accurate headcount
so they can accommodate our group and their other
patrons as well.
After the meeting, several of us will go out
'After Hours' to a local restaurant, bar or
nightclub for some additional social time and fun.
Information on the location of 'After Hours' is also
at the bottom of each of our webpages.
Being out for your first time can be exhilarating,
but will also lead to a number of profound emotions,
feelings, thoughts and questions that you’ll want to
remember and reflect upon when you have more time.
You may want to consider keeping a journal to jot
down your thoughts and feelings.
Visit our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
page for more information.
